I would describe my art practice as interdisciplinary. The primary goal for all my work is to explore self-awareness, authenticity, and life-long learning; this exploration has taken the form of drawings, performance, sculpture, and film, among other mediums. Much of my practice includes a unique form of research, wherein I essentially try my best to remain curious and open to all people and to learn from seeking out and listening to others’ stories about the multiplicities of unique, complex ways of life and living.

An exploration of the ego fighting reality

DRAWINGS, FILM, SCULPTURE, PERFORMANCE

This is an experimental documentation of the continual process of the Ego fighting against reality. It began as a reaction to the heavy rattling breaths my uncle breathed as he died, the realization of my lack of true understanding about life, the fundamental fear of reality, and my ego’s realization that it can and will eventually lose the fight.
